Fresh talent joins The Kitchen Project
A second wave of fresh foodies has been recruited onto The Kitchen Project, which seeks to change the food landscape in west Auckland.
A group of three new candidates have been chosen to join the 26-week programme, which offers a mix of learning both inside and outside of the kitchen and mentoring from established figures in the food industry.
The new entrepreneurs’ businesses span dairy-free desserts, authentic Indian spice mixes and a free-range fried chicken.
The Kitchen Project’s first crop of entrepreneurs have now successfully graduated sell their products at 11 markets across Auckland as well as online. Find out where to taste their food here.
