Angel Treatz

Rose is a proud Cook Islander from Rarotonga and Aitutaki, born and raised in Ōtara, South Auckland. A devoted wife and mother, her baking journey began after her daughter Anahera was diagnosed with a mixed seizure disorder six years ago. This life-changing moment led her to leave full-time work and pursue baking—an early passion inspired by Rose’s mum and nanna.

Rose now run Angel Treatz, a small Ōtara-based dessert business specializing in handcrafted, made-from-scratch treats, including her signature filled donuts and the popular ‘Viral Dubai Pistachio Brownie’. Angel Treatz is rooted in love and inspired by her daughter’s sweet tooth.

Rose joined the Kitchen Project to grow her business and strengthen her skills in administration, social media, and council compliance. “I really enjoyed the Kitchen Project, it was the best decision I could ever make for my business. I had the best support team along with the best guidance. I would highly recommend to anyone struggling or just need that push in the right direction to further your business.”

Looking ahead, she envisions Angel Treatz operating from a small storefront with a kitchen and having a presence at the Ōtara market and night markets throughout the week.
